What is a sentence fragment? How is it different than a complete sentence?
A sentence fragment is an incomplete sentence; some essential part of the sentence is missing. In order for a sentence to be complete, it must contain both a subject and a predicate. One subject and predicate set is a complete sentence only if it is not introduced by a subordinating conjunction.
